We are hiring

Toy Tech (Part-Time Contractor) — Portland Oregon

We are looking for a hands-on Toy Tech to help craft our made-to-order toys. This is a part-time, contract position ideal for makers, artists, and tinkerers who enjoy working independently and want to learn how toys (and toy businesses) are made.

About the Role

As our Toy Builder, you’ll be assembling toys, working with 3D printers, preparing sub-assemblies for production, and packing & shipping orders. The work is physical, detail-oriented, and often repetitive—but every day brings small new challenges to learn and grow your skills.

Who You Are

  • You enjoy working with your hands and seeing a physical result from your work.
  • You’re independent, self-motivated, and can stay focused in a studio environment.
  • You’re curious about how things are made (3D printing, product design, small-batch manufacturing).
  • You find satisfaction in doing a job well and honing your craft.
  • No specific experience is required—just a willingness to learn.
